Welcome To Eight Moons Flower Farm

Peralta, New Mexico

“Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food, and medicine for the soul.” - Luther Burbank

Meet The Farmers!

Hey! We’re Laura and Steve, a couple of incorrigible and eclectic entrepreneurs who left Portland, Oregon, our home for the last 25 years, behind to follow our dream of building a lavender farm. We traded the city and its charms for some new passions, like learning how to plant lavender, and raise bees, chickens, and even peacocks! We’re super excited to offer a new venue built from scratch, and with love. Our farm is more than just a business; it’s a canvas for a new lifestyle located just outside Albuquerque, New Mexico, in our own slice of the beautiful Land of Enchantment. We can’t wait for you to join us on this journey, and be part of our new story.

OUR FARM HOUSE

Nestled amid scenic landscapes, the farm house was originally built in the 1960s. Before it was Eight Moons Farm, the property was home to a horse ranch which thrived until around the late 1990s. Since then, the farm house has been fully renovated and modernized, but with its history preserved through antique artifacts, authentic adobe elements, and retained Venetian plaster walls.

Just a stone’s throw away, the Adobe Horse Barn Space, a transformed 19th-century adobe barn, marries history with elegance. Retaining its original adobe walls, the barn showcases an intimate, rustic charm with modern amenities. Its versatile spaces, adorned with hand-hewn beams and chandeliers, provide an idyllic setting for intimate dinners and classes. Experience the fusion of heritage and sophistication in a captivating, timeless ambiance that ensures unforgettable memories.
